Before becoming a freelancer in 2019, I spent three years at The University of Texas at Arlington as Assistant Director for Multimedia. Prior to UTA, I spent 16 years as a Senior Photojournalist at WFAA-TV in Dallas, Texas, covering major national and international stories. Assignments included the September 11 attacks in New York City, Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, the funeral of Pope John Paul II in Rome, John Glenn's return to space, and the Branch Davidian standoff near Waco, Texas.

I've shot video for ABC News, NBC News, CNN, Fox News, Univision, Telemundo, The Investigative Network, as well as UT Southwestern Medical Center, Southern Methodist University, The University of Texas System, Fort Worth ISD, and numerous local media outlets across the United States.

My work has been recognized with awards from the Emmys, National Press Photographers Association, Office of the Texas Governor – Barbara Jordan Media Award, Houston Press Club, Associated Press, and Dallas Press Club.

I value the opportunity to meet new people and learn something new every day. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and organizational skills have been key to my success throughout my career.
